I remember when you said you wanted to do that. I'm so glad she was pleased with it. All down to your hard work, what a lovely present Linda

To all who helped me put together the sketch tree in just two weeks... We got all three familes back to the early nineteenth century along with quite a lot of census detail on the way, plus the detail of a (Met) policeman's career and some info about the ship an RN carpenter was on. It's Debbie's birthday tomorrow and I wanted to make sure she got it in time so I dropped it in on my way home from work today. I'd put the info into a presentation folder and printed the critical bits onto some parchment-type paper, so it looks good. I wish you could have seen her face when she realised what it was! She was absolutely thrilled with it, absolutely thrilled. If you've ever given anyone something they weren't expecting but really wanted... well, that's what we achieved. It was lovely to be on the receving end of so much delighted reaction, but I owe quite a bit to you all for your help. I can't enable you to share in the cup of tea and piece of cake I got, but do imagine yourselves as receiving her overwhelmed thanks. THANK YOU ALL. Christine
