Helen,I wonder if Ms Marple could help me find her rellies cus I have a devil of a job trying to trace the Marples .As to Hannah ,would I find her marriage at Stafford or Warwick?

Paul.I have christening dates from IGI from 1838 onwards [need verifying]but its info on Hannah I'm really stuck with.Linda

I think Ms Marple (great name for a detective) is asking for info about Hannah's parents and siblings, not Hannah's children. The answer will be in the parish baptism registers which will be in Staffs Records Office. If you can't get there yourself, maybe someone nearby can do a look up for you. Alternatively, the relevant local family history society may have some transcriptions which they will search for a few £. nell

What about Parish Records? You don't say when the children were actually born. Although it was 1875 (or thereabouts) before it became a legal requirement to register BMD's, a lot were registered and you may find them registered at a later date when a birth certificate was required for one reason or another. Post the children's names, you never know what might happen. Paul

My gggrandmother Hannah Dutton was born ,according to census,in Tamworth Warwick, 1820.She married Thomas Barrett 7 Nov 1836[IGI] .Their children were christened in Packwood Warwick until 1850 when they moved to Oldbury Worcs.Can't get certificates so how do I find Hannahs parents or siblings ? Any help so I can move forward would be appreciated.Linda
