Rodney Please make sure you have permission to add any info from other peoples trees. People on this site have been accused of 'stealing' because they have used info they have been allowed to view. Also, are you sure the other person has researched their family really well? It could be they have added any names that seemed to fit without checking with certificates, Parish registers etc. You don't want to set off with the wrong set of rellies! Hi the only thing genes allows you to do is link trees, but if the person leaves so does their info, you have 2 choices, ask permission to copy the individuals manually onto your tree, or ask if they can send you a gedcom, to your email address and then merge them together on a software package hope this helps sandra |

I have been given access to another tree. Is there an easy way to paste across to my tree or do I have to enter individually? Can I also paste from my genealogical foftware package/ |
