I've been looking for Mary Jane Blundred nee Broadway born c. 1897 but can't seem to find her anywhere, however I can only look at free sites.Also having trouble finding her husband Jack/John Blundred. Can anyone help. Also she died around 1978

Ann-Marie If you are only looking on free sites, you probably won't find her. Her birth and marriage (ditto husband) should be on 1837online, for which you need to pay. alternatively you can go to a local library/archive which has the GRO indexes on microfiche and search free. She should be in the 1901 census. The index is free on the government site, but you would need to pay there or on ancestry to see the actual entry. nell

I'm sure she would've been born in or around Bedworth, Warwickshire, her siblings were Caroline, George, Alice and Jack, I have a possible Samuel as her brother 2 but not sure on that one.

I found her brothers and sister's but it says their mums name was Lizzie, however I have Sarah Ann as their mothers name, my original information came from my uncle, who is a geneaologist, i beginning to wonder if he could've got more wrong or if Lizzie was a pet name for Sarah back then.

Hi, I'm an exiled Bedworth (or Beduff as the locals say it!) and if I remember my town's history right, a lot of people moved into Bedworth for the mining, so it is possible she was born elsewhere and moved to Bedworth later. Regards Ann

Her parents grandparents, great grandparents and great great grandparents were born in Bedworth, the family looked like they didnt move much, they were all Coton, Bedworth, Coleshill and that kind of area
