HMS Apollo was in the Napolionic wars, and it was not unusuel for women to be onboard ether as wives hidden below decks or Whores that the Navy turnd a blind eye to. It was also not unknown for babys to be born abored. So your Relle could have easly been born on ship.

Have you tried the overseas section of 1837 online I think they might have indexes of people born at sea Lou

i am trying to find charles barnett born about 1805 on 1861 census states born 'board of appollo frigate' i do not understand this can anyone point me where i should go to find it thanks diana
