Lizz You're reaping the benefit of me buying my own 'Easter Egg'. I tried suggesting I'd like an Ancestry sub for Christmas, but my family didn't really believe me, I don't think. I've been doing a sketch tee (i.e. no certificates) for an 82nd birthdy prez for a church friend and realised that a friendly helper from GR was coming up with loads of lovely images from Ancestry. I succumbed. Christine

Can't get into the 1901 image at the moment - probably Ancestry's overloaded! Their transcription gives: Sarah & Thomas both 59, both b Tamworth Thomas 23, son b Tamworth George 9, grandson b Tamworth I reckon those lists are the right lot - just no mother listed for George. Christine

The address in 1891 looks like 7 Goodrage Row, but it's hard to read the script. They're together in 1881 living at Prospect Hill, Bolehall & Glascote - all birth years 'abt' Sarah FARMER b 1841 wife Thomas FARMER b 1842 head, coal miner John FARMER b 1866, Kettlebrook son Emma FARMER b 1867 Kettlebrook daughter Jane FARMER, b 1872 Kettlebrook daughter Rosey FARMER b 1874 Kettlebrook daughter Thomas FARMER b 1877 Kettlebrook son Holly FARMER b 1880 Kettlebrook daughter In 1871 they're at Heath End, Rushall Sarah FARMER 30 wife b Tamworth Thomas FARMER 29 head, coal miner b Tamworth Mary A FARMER 8, b Tamworth, scholar daughter John FARMER 7, b Tamworth, scholar son Emma FARMER 5 b Tamworth, scholar daughter Elizabeth FARMER 2 b Tamworth daughter Don't know if any of the names are distinctive enough for it to be significant if they re-occur in the family. I thought Tamworth was usually Staffordshire and the similar name in Warwickshire was Tanworth (in Arden). On the other hand, the boundary is quite close... Looking in the old county maps book of my husband's I can see it's been right on the boundary and probably was in Warks. I'll leave this here in case it helps with any puzzles about people coming from both counties or something. Christine
