Oh no! Most computers have a timed save/automatic save function. If the computer crashes then usually the most you lose is whatever changes you made in the previous ten or fifteen minutes.

Spent 4 hours this afternoon. putting all my Census details on a spreadsheet. Computer decided to restart and have lost it all!!!...has not even recovered it. I know I should have saved it!!
