Have now seen image and the 'D' was added later and is a bit of a squiggle. Could have been domestic nurse as there is a 4 month old baby, thanks for the help. Gill |

I've always thought the D stuff to be somthing like 'Domestic' but i think thats to do with cleaning! LMP :) |

1881 census A 20 year old girl ....a Servant in the household ....occupation given as .....D Nurse What could the 'D' be ...other than District Gill |
