Found a possible rellie born in Amswaite Yorkshire. Googled it but no such place. ] Tried Amowaite, Amawaite Any suggestions please??? |

HI Karen According to the Genuki pages for Yorkshire there is (?was) a place called Armenthwaite in the Ancient Parish of KIRKBY MALZEARD. Don't know if this helps!!?? or hinders!!! LOL Sarah x |

Kirby Malzeard is near Ripon, in North Yorkshire. That's the closest I can get too. |

oh goody goody !! The rest of this family came from Huttons Ambo which is near Ripon......I think. So this lot could be related !! woohooo I guess Amswaite could be an abbreviation of that longer name. Thank you both |
