Hello, has anyone had any success finding relatives who either fought or did worked for the war effort in South Africa in the Boer War in the 1900s. My grandfather, Stephen Easter and his wife Alice along with her parents, George and Jane Gibbings were presumed to have moved over there for a few years doing building work, before returning to England (Brighton) to live. George Gibbings death cert shows he died of a disease he picked up in South Africe a few years after he returned to England. Any help would be really appreciated.
