Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 11 Send Message	This is from a birth certificate. 'Helena late Elmer formerly Wilkinson'. What does the 'late' mean? I suppose it could be a description of a Widow who remarried or perhaps a step surname? or what?

	Helena = first name Elmer = previous married surname Wilkinson = probably her maiden name. Christine

	I would have said Helena married a wilkinson, then an Elmer , then had the child with Elmer
