question on manchester cath...

hiya just a quick question,where are the manchester cathederal records for past baptisms held please?? if anyone knows?! many thanks.x

Cherie They're held at the Manchester Records Office The cathedral also have their own archivist who can do look ups for you but they do charge Lou

Elaine Quite possibly, didn't want to suggest it though cos wasn't sure as I've never actually been to check them there myself! Wouldn't want to provide duff info! Lou

If you take a look at http://www.british-genealogy.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=2891 On the Manchester forum you find plenty of references to Man Cath and see that plenty of look ups are done. Ged
