The good volunteers at Freecen have transcribed some Scottish counties for some censuses. This is incomplete as yet but you might get lucky: http://freecen.rootsweb(.)com . Click on the 'Database coverage' link to see what's available. And, it's free! Richard

Karen, The site for Scotland is www(.)scotlandspeople.gov.uk it is pay to view site 6 pounds for 30 credits. You can view actual certs and print them - no waiting for GRO!! Hope this helps Barbara

Have paid subscription to Ancestry only to find it is only England ans Wales - no Scotland!!
