I know how you feel. I have been waiting since last August for some information from the vicar of the church where my 'family vault' is. He told me that he had some information for me and asked for my address to send it to. Although I have sent my address twice, nothing has appeared. I am convinced that he has gone into the vault to investigate the occupants, got stuck and needs rescuing!!!

Everything and nothing... I've just starting tracing my tree and every corner I turn I have to ask questions, and it just seems to take forever for any answers, whether it's email or relatives. I'm like a mad woman possessed, I keep checking my emails, and phone (just incase) I missed them. AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I'm even getting annoyed with my own impatience. x

Forgot to say. I was contacted last week in reply to a family history related letter that I had sent in 1997. I hope you don't have to wait that long!

I take it you are waiting for something specific? When you just hope for information, you can regard it as 'far off' if you know what I mean but when you know it's within your grasp,(well, almost) it's really hard to be patient. Can you think about some other relative until the information reaches you? Gwyn, ....... who's postman now knows that large envelopes are the best thing he can deliver here, as I rush out to meet the post rather than risk it being squashed through the letterbox with other mail.

Does anyone have the same problem as me? I find it really difficult waiting for information. The fact that I've waited for some of these things for years doesn't make me feel any better..... Please help me, calm my inpatience X
