Is the 1851 census available / complete / certain counties only/ not to be relied upon? If anyone could tell me how to go about searching for it I would be grateful, or if anyone has the information already, I am after Thomas Lock/Locke, probably born at Portsea, Hants in 1838. He became a tailor so may even have been starting his apprenticeship if I'm lucky. Thank-you in advance. Helen |
