i am trying to trace the rice family of ballyshannon.joseph edward rice (father) later moved to england and lived lant street southwark and worked for the gpo but this was after the 1901 census.joseph edmund rice was born in ballyshannon donegal in 1904 he later married a margaret butler in croydon surrey but died in 1941 ina tragic accident.joseph edmund rice had a brother called reginald who rana public house in battersea in 1940's ,he also had twin sisters mary and teresa ,who my nan was named after .there were other brothers but i have no names sorry. i hope someone could help me as i would like to find family for my nan. many thanks lizz |
