I finally tracked one of my rellies down to an army barracks during the 1901 census. Using ancestry I've gone to page one of the listing, and scrolled through page by page, but can't find any details about what regiment he would have in. The only details it seems to give are name age and what position they held, eg soldier, barracks warden, army officer...but nothing more! Any clues anyone? |
