I am planning a trip to Kew and thought I'd try and find any railway records for an ancestor. He worked as a railway porter in Peterborough 1880's. Can someone tell me which railway this would have been. Thanks Jane

The principal railway at Peterborough was the Great Northern (GNR) but it was also served by the Great Eastern Railway, the Midland Railway and the London & North Western Railway.
