I'm sure someone asked this the other day but I can't find the thread I'm afraid. I have an 1841 census which uses Adobe Acrobat. Does anyine know how I can save just one page of the census, when I click save it tries to save the whole piece, which is too big. Printing is nor prblem, i can just select the page I want but I can only save the whole thing! Thanks Sam |

That's something that bugged me for months! In the end i was taking screen shots and saving those. Finaly cracked and asked a friend - who knows that sort of stuff. (Dont ya just hate having to ask!? lol) What's needed is the FinePrint pdfFactory - which i think is a free download but am not sure. It googles. When that is installed and your adobe page is open, click on File and then Print. A box pops up and at the top left side is a drop down menu thingie - for printers. Click on that it should then give you the option for FinePrintpdfFactory. Then go down further and say which page/s you want to save, (in the Print Range section) then click OK. Ya get another box come up! lol But just click on the Save button at the bottom - and the next box you name, allocate and save. Sounds long winded but you zip thru it once you got the hang. lol Sue |

That's a good idea as well. The only thing I had though of was to print out he image ('cos it will let me print a single page, just not save it!) and then scan it back in again. Which kind of seems pointless when the image is on your PC in the first place... Sam |
