Lindsey, The 1881 Canadian census is on the LDS family search site. The 1901 Canadian census is at: http://automatedgenealogy(.)com If you can be more specific about which province you are searching there are various sites with BMD info, but as each province has jurisdiction over their own vital stats there is no central site for Canadian BMD.
