TRYING TO FIND MESSAGE BOARD.

Hi all, despite all those who have sent me info, I still cant get onto the above message board. Ive go on to my names board then found TRYING TO FIND and sent a message from there, but it doeosnt turn up on the main message board. HELP ME PLEASE. TED.

Once the name is in your tree, go to 'Your Names' The name will show here. Click on the Trying to find on the right for the appropriate name. This will bring up a page which asks if you want to add a message. Go to the Find a ......... at the top this is now the way to access trying to find. Add your message there. Hope you can understand this. Janet

I'm sure the confusion lies in not being able to add to this board if the name is not one of ''Your Names''. This is a real failing with the GR website - having to create a person thus giving you access to 'Trying to find' and the ability to add to post a message. Then...to delete your created person!! Talk about having to go ''all round the 'ouses!!!!'' Sam

I can understand why genes do this as you could be putting trying to finds up on the trying to find board for every tom dickand harry if the name is not in your tree so thats why we get trying to finds from one end of the place to the other on here on the general board and people can't seem to get it that your best hope of the message being seen is on the trying to find board cheers Lara xxx
