Have been trying to locate birth records on Hannah Cochrane born 1852/3 Woolwich Kent or Eltham info from 1881 & 1891 census. Have searched at Family Records Centre 1850-1857 no trace the same for 1837 online. I have looked at parish records for both Woolwich & Eltham at Local History Library and again no trace any ideas?? All I have found is her sisters birth record 1857 at the FRC. I tried to find parents marriage record at FRC 1850-1857 again no luck. Found her mother unmarried on 1851 census in Greenwich age 23. I am very frustrated and am unable to go back any further on parents without their marriage info which I was hoping to find from Hannah's birth info. Please help Thanks Jenny

Did you locate the mother on any other census? How about getting the sisters birth cert?

Have you tried to find Hannah under her mother's maiden name? Perhaps the parents didn't marry until after the birth. (perhaps like mine, they didn't marry at all!)
