Will I find these on 1837 online if he died on a royal naval ship? or will it just list people lost in british waters? I don't know the exact year of death so I don't want to waste a lot of dosh trying to find someone who won't bre there anyway! Thanks. Alice

Deaths at sea are in 2 seperate sections within the Overseas part of 1837. One for civilians called Marine Deaths and one for Royal Navy deaths. Go for it - it's straightforward. Any problems email me and I'll look for you. Regards Keith
