At the mo its baptisms but they are adding more stuff and churches all the time. They also have apprenticeship bindings, watermen records and various other docklands info. Search Online the Parish Registers of All Saints Poplar, St Anne Limehouse, Christ Church Isle of Dogs, St George in the East, St James Ratcliff, St John Cubbitt Town, St John Wapping, St Luke Millwall, St Mary Newington, St Paul Shadwell, St Peters Limehouse and St Peters London Docks for your Docklands Ancestors. The database at present includes over 70,000 Baptisms entries. Be sure to bookmark this site as we are uploading more entries weekly. None of these entries are available anywhere else on the internet. You can search the database free of charge, for as many names and variations as you like. All you need to do is select a Parish, enter the required Surname and press Search. If you find nothing, that's one Parish Register you won't have to spend many hours searching for your Docklands Ancestors. Enhance your search by adding a forename. This feature has been added due to a number of requests from our regular visitors and is entirely optional. If you use this feature, all forenames will be searched according to your request (including any 'middle' names).

Heather, Cheers for that site. Didnt even know it existed. WIll remember to bring my notes in on my troublesome Eastenders and see if I cant sort them out. Do you know if their Parish Registers cover all events i.e. baptism/marriage/burial? Thanks Zoe

Lou, I only used it once to find one of the Hansons - if you do use it do a blanket search because 30 entries would cost the same as 1! That is, put the surname in and bring up everyone with it! Its on www(.)parishregister(.)com/
