They may have. 1871 to 1841 is a long time. They could have set up home by themselves :)

hi Tracy Thanks for looking it just gets worse. Can you please tell me if this was the Charles you saw marrying Ann as it seems to be the only one I can find. Thanks in advance Yvonne

I had a look round, but I couldn't see one with a George as a father. It's possible he had already died, but that makes it even worse lol

Ihave just been studying the two census dates you listed and i think you are right Tracy. I hadn't seen the 1881 with george and arthur. Not only the Charles and George but the charles and arthur also. Very frustrating tho' isn't it? Thanks for all your help If you can stand another lookup I would appreciate your opinion on the Flower family too.

The only marriage for a Charles George is the one to Ann, which is the one I gave in the censuses. I'd say that is your man.

There are lots of Charles Strange and lots of Mary & Mary A Flowers and fathers with matching names. I want to order Birth Certs for Charles and Mary Ann but don't know which ones to order - am I missing something? Am I stupid? Could be just blurry eyed! If anyone can spare a mo any advice appreciated Thanks Yvonne nudge
