Florence Quinn b 1878 (ish) Leeds..help please

Could anyone shed any light on this person. In 1901 she was the unmarried mother of 2. My Grandfather who she put as John on the census when his real name was Clement Acaster Quinn (John is preferable I suppose!), and Frank her baby. The family (as in my mum and aunt) believe Florence went on to marry someone called Phipps and have more children. Any info on her would be great. Karen |

No marriage post 1901 for a Florence Quinn on ancestry civil reg, so I think you will have to trawl through the GRO marriage indexes to find her wedding to Mr Phipps. I wonder if Clement (John) Acaster Quinn's father was a Mr Acaster - illegitimate children were often given their father's name as a middle name. Have you found her on the 1881?
