Besides looking up items on ebay (ie: mourning brooch/locket) as Sarah mentions, and 'family bibles genealogy,' also try searching the catagory 'handwritten diary.' There are tons of old journals being auctioned off all the time being bought by collectors....a shame for the families who should rightfully have them..... Judy

Evening All, My obsession still continues!!!.............. 1. Georgian/Early Victorian Mourning Brooch inscribed IN MEMORY OF ELIZABETH MAITLAND. 2. Georgian heavy gold band mourning ring with inscription inside I. B. E. SEPT 29 1744. 3.Memorial card for ELIZABETH WOOTTON of New Street, Goldenhill who died March 26th 1901 aged 74 years. 4. Memorial card for HANNAH DALE, Relict of Thomas Dale of Goldenhill, Born May 7th 1811 Died August 3rd 1898. 5. Memorial Card forJOHN HOLDCROFT beloved husband of PHOEBE HOLDCROFT of 20 Croston Street, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent who died March 27th 1916 aged 67 years. 6. Memorial Card MARY BUCKLEY, Relict of JOHN BUCKLEY of Elton Moss who Died November 27th 1885 aged 88 years. 7. Memorial Card for GEORGE STATHAM Late of Green House Farm, Arclid. Died 17th December 1875 aged 38 years. 8. MEMORIAL CARD FOR A THOMAS GREASLEY WHO DIED IN 1884. 9. MEMORIAL CARD JAMES RIGGOTT 1889 INTERRED SANDIACRE. 10. Old Holy Bible. Contains an inscription dating bible to July 4th 1883, inscription relates to a CECIL JAMES LONGCROFT. 11. BIBLE DATED AROUND 1870s80s. THE FIRST ENTRY IS 'WILLIAM STOKER WILLIS BORN 2nd SEPTEMBER 1837 WIFE BECKY BRISTOW BORN 12th APRIL 1842 MARRIED 6th JULY 1868' THERE ARE OVER 20 MORE ENTRIES OF THE WILLIS FAMILY. 12. 1837 Bible - MARY WAKELEY born 1842, MARY BOWDEN died 1889 and JOHN BOWDEN born 1840 + others. 13.Old Bible - various members of the CARTER family  whos births were registered at HARTWELL, BUCKS. Can we return these items to their proper homes???!!!!! Sarah x
