marriage certificate where has it gone ?????

anyone who has replied to me before may remember i am trying to trace my father alan frewell . well myself and various other people could not find mum (ena kim colley ) and alans marriage cert . so decided to send for mum and stepfathers to see what it said ! anyway it has turned up this morning and on mothers line it says Ena Kym Fretwell 24 years Previous Marriage Dissolved So surely this means mum and Alan were deffinately married so why can nobody find it ????? |

Have you tried the local RO? The GRO records are quarterly transcriptions of the local ones, and there are incidences of 'ones that got away'! Christine |
