I went to Warwickshire Record Office site for something and they have online all accused and victims and crimes and sentences searchable by name at Warwick Assizes up to 1836. You can also click all the different crimes and see the lists of accused. If you've a lost person in Warwickshire it's worth a look.

It's a jolly long address - just google 'Warwickshire Records Office' to find it. Pat Thanks, I don't think this was available last time I visited the site. How sad that I am disappointed not to find any of my rellies banged up or victims of crime! I had 4 rellies in Gloucester jail during the 1800s! nell

I've found a possible match as a victim - twice, the fool! - , but as it doesn't give any information on him, I just don't know.

You're right Valerie! I was thrilled to find one of mine in Wormwood Scrubs but disappointed when I checked the image and he was a prison officer! Debby
