Hi Think I am feeling a bit thick tonight!! I have found a relatives marriage on FreeBMD site - and when I click on the page number (to find out the spouses name) it bring up a total of four names. How do you match up who married who? Christina |

Christina You cant unless you buy the cert. But, if you have a first name perhaps from a census you will have a fair idea of which one. Unless they both have the same first name of course. You do only need one name to order a cert. If you look on the GRO site, where it asks for names. Only one name is mandatory. Margaret |

Christina Just quote the brides name on the cert order. If you try to guess and get it wrong you will lose £4 of your money. As I said before only one name is mandatory. It states in red at the top, either the mans or the womans name. Margaret |
