Helen. No I haven't contacted HQ. I don't know where is it. Peter. I am looking for Ralph Robinson who was born in Portsmouth Dec qtr 1893. On the 1901 Census, he was living in Guildford Road Fratton but from there he disappears. His father was Benjamin, his mother, Jemima Reeds and he had brothers and sisters called, James Richard, Mabel, who married and became a Mrs Cosens and Elsie. He worked on the railways and as far as my aged grandmother (94 yrs old) can remember, he worked at Eastleigh and could possibly have lived at Archers Road. I have searched through the indexes at Portsmouth Library for a wedding but it looks as if he married away from Portsmouth. All the family were members of the Salvation Army and all played in the Bands. Ralph had a daughter called Sylvia but whether she and her mother were members, I don't know. Any help would be a big help, as this is one of my brick walls and I have been knocking it for ages but it doesn't even quiver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jan

Does anybody know where to start looking for Salvation Army records for Eastleigh. I also have family linked to Southsea Division but all the records for them were destroyed when Lake Road Portsmouth was blitzed.
