Birth certificate disappointment

Hi Elaine Ive had the same problem. Ordered marraige cert the address was Pendleton. Ive now ordered sons birth cert in the hope that gives an address. Its so frustrating Julie

Yes, unfortunately it happens a lot! Many of mine are from small towns and it just says the name of the town!! Not very helpful. Anne

I've just received a birth certificate from Bury for a birth registered in 1852. I was really disappointed to find the address is just Moorfield, Bury North. I'm really disappointed as I hoped the address would help trace them on 1851 and perhaps other family members on 1841. Has this happened to anyone else? A Manchester cert issued in 1856 for his brother gives a full address. What a twist!
