I am wondering what the best way is to track someone down who was born in 1801. Thomas Brewer was born in St Giles, London, in 1801. He died in 1871. I am trying to find his parents. Have looked on family search - but nothing - although his marriage and some children are there. Any hints/tips gratefully rec'd. Lucette |

If thats St. Giles, Cripplegate, London the LDS have microfilms of several different church records, some going back to the 1600's - check out their film library. Good luck |

You could try looking on him on 1837online in the 1861 census, pay to view. Familysearch doesnt have all the records, you could have a look at familyrelatives site which is another pay to view site which has excellent transcriptions from 1866-1920. |
