hello i have found someone on my tree that was born in 1816 in penrith, that is all i no about him well apart from name lol is there any way where i can find where bouts in penrith he was born and who his parents were cos somehow i imagine penrith being a biggish town lol anne |

Yes, county records offices have parish records for their county. BUT You may find that the local family history society (local to Penrith, that is) have done a transcription of registers which they will search for a few £. Alternatively if you are near an LDS Family History Centre I believe you can order in films to see. nell |
