where do i find navy chaplain records?

Maybe you could try the Naval College in Portsmouth...try googling it. Anne

My ancestor was a chaplain in the navy. I know two of the ships he was on, and I know when he died. I have no idea of his number or rank. It say's on his death certificate that he was a Naval instructor and Naval chaplain. Thank you for any help Grace
