Ive had a quick look on freebmd site for you and here are some entries you should keep in hand as they are obviously connected to you in some way: Surname First name(s) District Vol Page -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Mar 1909 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CERRONE Antonio Worcester 6c 307 MEZZONE Modeatina Worcester 6c 307 PRICE Florence Worcester 6c 307 WALFORD William Worcester 6c 307 Dont know who is married to who but seems likely an Italian would marry the other Italian. Also for 1908, no groom given (you could look him up on 1837online by using same quarter, area and year: Mezzone Maria Birmingham 6d 324 Some births for you: Surname First name(s) District Vol Page -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Dec 1893 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MEZZONE Maria Assunta Bristol 6a 25 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Mar 1895 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Carmine Bristol 6a 33 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Dec 1897 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Guiseppe Bristol 6a 30 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Mar 1898 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Giovani Birmingham 6d 51 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Jun 1899 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Luigi Bristol 6a 81 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Mar 1902 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MEZZONE Pietro Worcester 6c 291 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Sep 1906 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Tomaso Worcester 6c 276 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Dec 1906 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Dominico Worcester 6c 237 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Births Jun 1908 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mezzone Rosa Worcester 6c 282 All of the above have the references you need to get their certificates for more info from the GRO website for £7.

Hi, I guess you have already contacted the other Mezzone's listed on the site? Apart from that, you need to find your dads marriage cert to get his fathers name and his wife's fathers names. It will also give their occupations and the address the bride and groom were living at. You can try freebmd site for the references you need to buy the certs or if they are not on there (not fully transcribed) pay to view on 1837online. Work on the definite info you have in hand about birth, marriages and deaths. You can also get his birth certificate to find out his mothers maiden name. From there you can work backwards through certificates and birth marriage and death certs. Not sure how you will manage the Italian side, but take one step at a time. Check on the info for newbies on the homepage. Good luck.

hi, my name is Tina mezzone, I am from Birmingham (d.o.b)1/1/1958. I am trying to trace anyone who maybe able to help me piece together my family on my fathers side. All I know is his name Derek Joseph Mezzone. I believe he had a brother named David. I think his mothers name was Josophine Evelyn Mezzone. (22/03/1909-september 1993. death was registered in Chichester, West Sussex.) I think his father came over from Italy. Possibly from Sora. He may have made icecream for a living. His wife Josephine was from Wales. Not much to go on, but its all i've got. If anyone can help, Please do! Many thanks in anticipation. A long lost Mezzone xxx
