Hello again, I seem to remember dad was in the army late 40's can I get info for this time? Sue.........

Do you have any of his stuff from his army days, Medals will have his army number on there edge. Cap badges will give you his regement. If you are talking WW2. do you have his Leve Ration book this should have his rank and number. If you have a Photo but do not know what your looking at then send me a copy and I'll have a look.

How do I go about getting my dad's army records I only roughly know what years he joined up I don't have any excact dates. Also what info do I get when I send for his army papers, is there a piccy of him on the papers etc? Sue........
