Can anyone help me? I have lost my gt grandfather and one son. They are on 1891 census but not on 1901. I have searched LDS and BMD for deaths and may have found one. James Longhurst b: 18 Feb 1863 Bethnal Green London + James Longhurst b: <1885 Hackney London. 1891 census addy Plover St. Hackney, 1901 addy same minus these two. I found James Longhurst death 1893 age 8 Hendon on BMD, right age for young James but dont know if its him or why Hendon. Any help anyone this has been bugging me for ages. Marie

Could the older James have been in the army. My grandfather is not on the 1901 census because he was abroad in the Boer War. Kath. x
