Hi Melanie, I used to go to school with somebody called Jubb and they were from North Cave so perhaps the death is registered in the Howden distrct. By the way, did you know that Holderness is an area to the East of Hull Jeanette x

Hi Melanie I have checked 1837online for 1969, 1970 and 1971 and cannot find your grandfather's death. Are you sure about the year? Sam

Hi Melanie, Start with what you know. Obtain the death certificate which will give his age at death. That will help with the birth. You may need to look on 1837online or if you cant find it on Freebmd or Ancestry or in your local record office(the search there will be free) Your parents birth certificate will be a clue to approx. marriage date from there you can work backwards. could anyone be able to help me, im trying to trace my grandparents, Francis Albert Edward Gonsalves he married my grand mother Elizabeth Grace Pauline Jubb, dont know what date, I dont know if it was in London, England, but I do know that he died in Hull, England in 1970, I also know that he has a brother who is still living and he lives in America he's called Fred (Fredrick) and has a son called Gregory who is a surgeon in America thanks.
