I have offered to do the family tree for a friend (my own is just not enough!) and his dead rellies are Yorkshire based. I am completely ignorant of what might be available online for Yorkshire as all my research has been in the south, and I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction. |

There's a Yorkshire BMD. Where in Yorkshire are you looking? |

Thanks. Seems to be Bradford and Hunslet just now. The Yorkshire BMD is a fantastic resource! What a shame there aren't similar online BMDs for my southern rellies. |

All the censuses - 1871-1901 - have Bradford and Hunslet. Been a great help to me. I also have 1841 and 1851 disks for Bradford, if you need anything looking up there, just ask :) |

Thanks so much for all replies. A lookup in Bradford 1851 would be amazing but, unfortunately, I don't have addresses, and I know what it's like looking through hundreds of pages of a large town for someone that isn't even related to you! However, if I get some more info, that would be great. Many thanks. |
