Are AOL cookies the same as Internet Explorer cookies? I have AOL set to delete cookies and tmp files,on shut down............what about IE? bob......

Using Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options and there is a button there to delete all cookies. I don't think you can set IE to do this automatically but I'll stand correcting on that bit. Regards Ron www(.)genealogyprinters(.)com

Bob: You can remove the cookies using the Internet Explorer (Click on TOOLS at the top of your screen, then click on INTERNET OPTIONS) but this way does not completely remove all cookies or temporary internet files.....see the thread '1 Stop Routine PC Maintenance' for directives on how to remove cookies completely......I'll nudge the thread up for you. Please can you clarify,Judy, If cookies are completely removed , does this also remove passwords? that have been stored?......ie ' remember password'?
