View image on BMD?

I would like to view a marriage Dec 1857 Marylebone 1a 774 -have tried viewing on BMD rootweb - seems a right pain in the a**e, asking for for all sorts - is there an easier way? Lin

If you mean the FreeBMD images, the search system isn't very elegant, but it does work. One or two images are missing where they've been withdrawn for quality reasons. Since the array of images is often quite large, I just hazard a guess as to how far down the list my target name would be and, if I'm wrong, at least I now have a smaller number of images to choose from since I now know whether the name falls before or after the one I chose. The absolutely logical way is to go for halfway each time. I usually choose pdf images, but at least you have a choice - and it's free. Christine

Lin, Well you got me mate. I never even knew one could view images on free bmd,,, i mean i know you can on 1837 coz thats what one pays for.... hmmmm interesting must remember to look further. The trouble is with me, the information is out there but I dont read it !!!
