I am trying to fill in some gaps with a James Stamp born in 1851 I believe in Somerset - I have him on an 1871 census and then nothing. However I have found a reference on an 1881 census in Canada - he is the right age with a similar occupation. How do I go about finding out how and when he got to Canada to try and track him back to Somerset. Can anyone help? |

If you want some help you should change your title and just put the name/and or/ Canada. With existing title people might think you are wanting help to emigrate yourself and are therefore perhaps not British. Pam |
