I have read a posting on a rootsweb list today regarding the 1911 census Apparently the census itself is only on the householders original report, not the enumerators books. There are large parts of it missing and the papers themselves going rotten/mildewy. I asked the person who posted this whether he thought this was a one off or are all the others the same, he said it didn't look good. We could all be waiting 7 years now for the 1911 and still not find our people.

And then another 10 years for the 1921..and then THIRTY YEARS before we get the next one, 1951. By which time I shall be dead and buried. Marjorie

It was on the Warwickshire rootsweb list. Main part was a message quoted from Rod Neep (Archive cd books so he should know what he's talking about) Go to the rootsweb list archives to read it.
