This would appear to have been an army site on the shores of the Thamar in Plymouth. I suggest you check military and naval connections. |

There were a lot of small artillary posts around the SW coast at that time (A leggacy of the Napolionic war) A lot of them were manned by the equivalent of the TA, but thay all came under the Royal Artillary. So start by trying to find out from them what regaments were stationd there at that time. (A Bombader is the same as a Corprol) |
