Thanks Jeannette. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) there are lots of descendants all interlinked and I think it is going to be a nightmare to delete them all and re-enter. This must happen from time to time - you would think it would just be a case of connecting to an existing link. Best wishes Jenny

Hi Jenny I take it you want to add the daughter to the father. Is there anybody descended from her? If not it's just a case of deleting her and adding her to the father. If you have lots of descendants from her it's not so easy. You have to delete all of her descendants before you can move her. If this is the case and it's going to be a long boring job, then I would contact GR and ask if they can do it for you Jeanette x

I have two ancestors in my tree and have discovered that there is a link between them. I already had a particular ancestor in my tree, he was tied in to father, mother, brothers and sisters etc. I now find that through another branch of my family tree that the line goes back to that same ancestor. In short I now have a father but don't know how to link his daughter as they were both entered separately being discovered through different family lines and I have only now made the connection. Just can't get my head round this one. Jenny
