I have found a james cameron aged 27 in 1871 living with his mother Mary Cameron aged 65 born in Ireland and his sister Mary A Cameron aged 34 born in Liverpool, the address is a bit unreadable!! I think it reads 23 Briney or Brinley Street, West Derby Liverpool, it is on the Ancestry.co.uk search. Hope this helps Niki

Lou He would be 17 in 1861. could be married to ellen. His occ plasterer. I think his father was called george, a labourer. he was living redmond place liverpool in 1871 aged 51 Thanks Linda

Hi Linda Sorry for the delay...bit of a disaster here with an exploding light bulb. Bit of a mess! Will have a look for you now! 1861 RG9/2693/77 19 Redmond Place, Liverpool (Islington St Annes Ward) Cameron George HEAD 41 Labourer Cameron Catherine WIFE 39 Cameron Mary DAUG 19 Cameron George SON 10 Cameron William SON 5 Cameron Mary MOTHER Wid 66 No sign of James Cameron. No James of the right age on the partial name index and there's no Ariel Street on the Liverpool Street index so it either wasn't built in 1861 or it's mistranscribed on the census you have the address from! Liverpool covers 7 discs so its just too big to blanket search without anything more to go on Sorry I couldn't be more help! Lou

Hi Lou Thanks for that , thats brilliant i know that it is, james's family because george aged 10 in 1861,and aged 18 in 1871 census as a ironmoulder is with james an family in 1881 aged 28 ironmoulder. so you have helped me go back even further especialy as george's mother is with him Thanks alot Linda
