Yes you do see the same person (this got me for a while too!!) I think the idea is you have to pay to see the people on their database. As I say, there is a free bit .... http://pub15.bravenet*com/photocenter/album.php?usernum=1253064299&album=2303 (change the * for a dot!) Careful though, there seems to be a lot of pop-up ads on this site (one right in the centre of the screen when you click a photo). Make sure you click 'Close X'. These you can see, but will probably not be the person you require! I added my gt-grandfather here, Ruben Overton. Jason.

Here is a site containing pictures of WWI servicemen. There is a free section, where I added Ruben Overton, my gt grandfather who died on HMS Queen Mary in WWI. http://www.ww1photos*com/ (change the * for a dot!) Jason.

If I remember rightly, some time ago someone was looking for a website that had photograhs of WW1 servicemen and officers, I have been reading a very old copy of Family history mag dated May 1998 Vol 14 no 7 and there is an article about an index, Each photo has been identified, regiment or unit, decorations.etc.... Index also includes articles such as postcards letters, photos of graves etc...... The snail mail address is ..... Imperial Soldier Searches of Yew Tree Cottage Blackford, Stoke-St-Millborough, Shropshire ST8 2E...... The compliers name is Simon Jervis..... I can send the article to anyone who may be interested Sylvia Costs, as at 1998, were 3pds plus SAE..probably more now. It might be worth writing to this address to see if still availabe. Sorry no email address
