Hi ALice, if my memory serves me right it was instant! Mind you that was way back when the site first started, don't know if it's different now. Have you checked in your Junk Mail....sometimes my emails from SP goes in there? Hope you get on soon and smash down those brick walls! Christine

Yes Christine i would think it usually is instant. Have just checked junk mail - nothing in there but non- prescription drugs which I may be tempted to buy in a minute! - either that or could throw computer out of the window- or go to bed. I guess I'll go to bed and hope it makes it's way to me in the morning. James allison does not want to be found! alice

Hello Christine thank you for your offer. he may have been - he got married in England in 1881 after the census but i cannot find him on the 1881 in England. I think he was born in Anderston Glasgow. he wa born 1855 so he would have been 26. On his marriage cert he is a seaman so i guess he woould most likely be at sea anyway. However mum amd dad may be there. dad was also james, Mum Agnes living in Anderston Glasgow? Dad Brass finisher. thanks for your help Alice
