When you send off for a Birth Certificate how much does it cost. I am used to using the scotlands people site and for 5 credits ( £6 buys 30 credits ) I get an image of the entry in the register. This contains all the details you normally find on a birth certificate, including date and place of marriage of the parents. It turns out now that an ancestor may be English by birth. |

Many thanks Maureen, I'm surprised that there is such a difference. The image I get isn't an actual cetificate, but all the info is there. Thank you |
